Big Sky Documentary Filmfest to screen ‘Finding Farideh’

Iran doc ‘Finding Farideh’ is to go on the silver screen at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival in the US.

Iran documentary ‘Finding Farideh’ has been scheduled to go on the silver screen at the 16th edition of Big Sky Film Festival in the US.

Co-directed by Azadeh Mousavi and Kourosh Ataei, the flick is to represent Iran at the US film event.

'Finding Farideh' story begins with a newspaper report which read a young woman who was adopted by a Dutch family is looking for her biological parents.

Rooted in the heart of the mountain west, The Big Sky Film Institute nurtures and elevates non- fiction films that have the power to transform our world, our culture, our youth and ourselves. The mission of BSFI is to celebrate and promote the art of nonfiction filmmaking, and to encourage media literacy by fostering public understanding and appreciation of documentary film.

The 2019 edition of the event is slated for February 15-24, 2019. The festival is currently underway.
